Import and export

Move keyword and review data in and out of OpenASO.

Import keywords

In the keyword workspace, use the import action to select a CSV or plain text file. OpenASO imports keyword tracks for the selected app and avoids duplicate keyword/storefront combinations.

Export keywords

Use the keyword export action to save the selected app's keyword tracks as CSV.

This is useful for reporting, sharing work with another tool, or preparing spreadsheet analysis.

Export keyword history

Use the keyword history export action when you need historical ranking snapshots rather than only the current table state.

History exports follow the current keyword filters, so you can export rankings for a specific country, date range, search term, popularity range, difficulty range, position range, movement range, or changed-keyword set.

Export reviews

In the Reviews workspace, use Export to save review and rating data for analysis outside OpenASO.

Exports can be narrowed by the current country filter and search text. Use this when you want to analyze customer reviews, compare storefront performance, or share review data with a spreadsheet, BI tool, or AI analysis workflow.

Review exports include the storefront rating summary and rating history fields that OpenASO tracks for each country, including rating count, average rating, star distribution, change values, dates, and source.

Data ownership

OpenASO stores app, keyword, review, rating, and metric data locally through SwiftData. CSV export is the primary way to extract data for external reporting and analysis.
