App Store keyword rank checker
Enter a keyword and country to see the apps that come back, how established they are, and where your app appears.
How to read the results
- Exact title matches. Count how many top apps use every word of your keyword in their name. A high number means the term is contested directly.
- Median ratings. A median in the hundreds of thousands means established apps hold the term. A low median is a sign that a smaller app can compete.
- Relevance. Look at what the top apps do. If they solve a different problem, the keyword may bring the wrong people even if you could rank for it.

Frequently asked questions
Are these the same results as the App Store app?
Not necessarily. This tool uses Apple's public iTunes Search API, not the App Store app itself, and ads never appear in it. Treat positions as a guide, and check terms that matter on a real device.
How do I find out how many people search for a keyword?
Apple has said it does not provide keyword-level data in App Store Connect. The closest first-party signal is the search popularity indicator in Apple Ads, which is relative rather than a count. OpenASO can pull popularity into your keyword list from your own Apple Ads account.
Can I track my rank over time?
This page shows one moment. To keep a history across keywords and countries, use OpenASO, the free Mac app, with daily refresh turned on.
